Here’s to the fabulous and the fashionable, the pink-loving, the pink-hating, glitter soaked queerosity and gender fucking ferocity, to grrls and bois and everyone else, to fags and their hags and femmes who never wear makeup, to the asexy chicas, fatass kids still questioning their gender, and to my fellow invisible bi/pan/fluid babes-
THIS IS QUEER FEMME.
Here you shall find pictures, quotes, links, gifs, articles, music, videos, ANYTHING related to queer femme identity.
SO WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “QUEER?” I mean that your sexuality and/or gender identity is/are outside the current norm in mainstream U.S. culture - bisexual, agender, asexual, two-spirit, intersex, transgender, gay, lesbian, genderqueer, genderfuck, pansexual, fluid sexuality, third gender, questioning, demisexual, or anything else.
AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “FEMME?” Whatever you mean by “femme.” If you would identify yourself as femme, then you’re femme, and I would like to know what that means to you. I would also love to include the experiences of those who only sometimes present as/identify as femme.
This will be as close to a safe space as possible. This means that there will be NO bashing of anyone’s identity: no homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, sexism, racism, ethnocentrism, classism, ageism, ableism, cultural appropriation, and so on. There will be no identity policing, either. However, I also acknowledge that as a white, generally middle-class, able-bodied woman that I may not always realize that something is offensive. Please always feel free to call me out, anonymously if that is what works for you.
This blog is body-positive, and sex-positive. Posts that could be triggering will be labeled as such. This blog may not always be safe for work. You have been warned.
